General Description

Located in a very quiet setting within 10 minutes drive of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a pretty riverside town famous for its antique markets, this entirely air-conditioned property can accommodate up to 12 guests with its 4 double bedrooms, and independent apartment. It sits on an estate of 4 hectares (9 acres) of enclosed landscaped ground with automatic gate at the entrance, heated swimming pool and view of the 'Alpilles' hills.

This 'Mas' (190 sqm) on two floors and independent apartment (35 sqm) can accommodate up to 10 guests plus 2 on a sofa bed. On the ground floor is the entrance hall, guest WC and cloakroom. There is a large living room with satellite TV, HiFi, CD and DVD players, fireplace, 2 leather sofas, and dining area alongside the fully equipped open-plan kitchen (American fridge, freezer, oven, micro wave, electric cooker). There is also a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. The master bedroom has a large king size bed and en-suite bathroom. On the first floor there is the main master bedroom which has a complete en-suite bathroom. There are also two guest double bedrooms sharing a large shower room on this floor. You can also find an additional self-contained apartment in 'Le Mazet 50 m from the main house, by the swimming pool. This extra accommodation air-conditioned has a living room with a sofa bed (for 2 persons), armchairs, small equipped kitchen (sink, fridge, oven, ceramic hob) and a shower room with WC. Then the mezzanine bedroom has been arranged with a queen size bed.

Outside there is a loggia (summer kitchen) with BBQ and a dining table with wrought iron chairs (sitting 8). Another covered terrace is attached to the independent apartment by the pool and has been arranged with a shower, another BBQ, and table with two benches (sitting 8). The large heated swimming pool (11m x 5 m - depth 1.10m to 1.90m) with a pool alarm system is surrounded by a large sun terrace of 190 sqm. There is also a patio with a fountain close to the main house.

Bedroom 4 - Queen size bed (160 cm), baby bed, A/C, sharing a large shower room with shower, washbasin and WC.

'Le Mazet' - Independent Annex:
A/C in Mazet - Living room with a sofa bed (for 2 persons), small kitchen (sink, fridge, oven, ceramic hob), shower room with WC.
Mezzanine bedroom (queen size bed - 160 cm).

Please note that an extra single bed can be arranged on request.

Mandatory: Cleaning: 4h/week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Including Final cleaning & meet & greet: 450 €.
Extra cleaning hours: on request, €20 per hour (payable on the spot).
Phone and fax are charged according to consumption.
Electricity is included (consumption up to 400 kW / week), extra consumption to be paid on site (€0.35 per kW).
Pool heating: €300 per week on request in advance (minimum request 4 days before the arrival).

Local Area / Activities

The property is surrounded by some of the most stunning villages in the Luberon and Vaucluse. Within 10 minutes drive is L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a pretty riverside town famous for its antique markets, with its canals, narrow streets, cafes and restaurants, just 6 km is Saumane-de-Vaucluse and within 20 to 30 minutes you can get to Gordes, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Fontaines de Vaucluse and Saint Remy de Provence. All a must to see! To the west is the wonderful, vibrant and historic town of Avignon, with its magnificent Palais du Papes, one of the architectural wonders of France, with its starred restaurants, theatre festival, museums, local markets. Is just only 35 kilometres away and would make an ideal day trip. To the north, there is Mont Ventoux and Châteauneuf du Pape and Gigondas famous vineyards, all to visit. However if you just want to relax and not move from the small village of St Antoine, it has a bakery and a small coffee / tobacco store at 15 to 20 minute walk from the Mas.
