From the farmhouse it is only two miles to the picturesque village of Blangy le Chateau, featuring old timbered houses and quaint public buildings in a peaceful rural setting. A short drive away you have the famous cheese making towns of Pont l'Eveque, Liverot and Lisieux with their weekly markets selling the best of Normandy produce: cream, butter, cheese, meat, freshly caught fish and shellfish. Chic Deauville is also within easy reach of your villa, for a day on its long sandy beaches or strolling along its elegant promenade in search of a restaurant or the casino. This town is also famous for its film festival and horse races so don't be surprised to see horses trotting on the seashore!
