Delightful Holiday Cottage with private Swimming Pool, in the grounds of a stunning 18th century Chateau in Siorac-en-Perigord, close to Sarlat and Bergerac, in the South West of France.

2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Sleeps 2/3 guests plus a baby.

Available for rent on its own in May, June and September and in conjunction with the Chateau (ref CHA2396) in July and August.

This pretty L shaped self catering holiday cottage is nestled in the grounds of an impressive 18th century Chateau, on the edge of the quaint medieval village of Siorac-en-Perigord, near the banks of the River Dordogne and close to the many attractions of this beautiful area of France. The famous medieval market town of Sarlat is just 25 minutes away and Bergerac airport is only 45 minutes by car.

This superb holiday cottage lies within an acre of private walled gardens, in peaceful surroundings yet within minutes of local amenities.

The cottage comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, a shared bathroom, a combined lounge/dining room with compact galley kitchen. The cottage is comfortably furnished, all the rooms have high ceilings and stone or wooden floors. The owner is an antiques dealer so the furnishings in each room are constantly being changed.

The holiday cottage is only available to rent separately in May, June and September and the Chateau will not be occupied if the cottage has been rented during these months. The holiday cottage can also be rented in conjunction with the Chateau if extra accommodation is required. Please enquire for further details.

There is a delightful and well kept garden with many shaded areas suitable for al fresco dining, a sunny courtyard and the private swimming pool (11 x 5 m) is alarmed for safety.

Within walking distance are restaurants, a supermarket, boulangerie, tourist office and the train station.

Accommodation Facilities

Bedrooms: Large master bedroom with double bed, cupboard with hanging space and shelving, bedside tables and French doors opening onto the garden. The cot is kept in this bedroom.

Single bedroom with 1 single bed, bedside light, chair, hanging space and shelving.
Bathrooms: An excellent and good sized bathroom with large shower cubicle, wash hand basin, WC
Kitchen: Delightful galley kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine etc and plenty of cupboard space.
Living Rooms: A cosy lounge/diner with good sized dining table seating 4, comfortable settee and French doors leading to the garden. TV with French channels. DVD player.
Linen/Cleaning/Towels etc: Cleaning charges are included in the rental.

Bed linen, personal towels and pool towels are provided.
Outside: Private swimming pool, with Roman steps and alarm

Nearby attractions include horse riding, golf, canoeing and prehistoric caves. All around are the naturistic delights of bird watching and walking in unspoilt countryside with an abundance of wild flowers and rare orchids.
