General Description

The Chateau is situated in 100 acres of private estate surrounded by woodland and its own private lake. On site activities include the swimming pool (with solar heating), tennis court with ball machine, Jacuzzi and steam room as well as a clay pigeon machine. The house was built around 1752 and passed through the hands of a railway magnate. The feature middle room has a mosaic floor with a wheel as a motif, that leads out to the balcony. The interior has been furnished and decorated in the last 5 years to a very high standard. The Chateau is very secluded and reached through its 1km long tree-lined driveway. The land is available for walks and is great for young children. For those who do not wish to walk there is a selection of 9 bicycles of varying sizes for you to use. The scenery is breathtaking, and the rear balcony, ideal for evening barbeques, overlooks the Massif Central which rises to 7000ft. Skiing is even available in the winter. There are multiple activities available locally including canoeing, fishing (in the chateau lake), go-karting, flying, a wine museum and a cheese making facility. For the less energetic the region hosts several 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants and many wine caves including many Cote du Rhone variants.

- The South Wing has 2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms and a single. There are 2 en-suite bathrooms.
