General Description

This extraordinary Maison has recently been completely and carefully restored, and now stands to offer the most refined and impeccable taste in accommodation. The smallest detail has been tended to, from the selection of craftsmen and materials to the beautifully decorated and styled interiors, respecting the original era and architecture of the home, which was originally built in 1882. This gracious, spacious, and distinguished home is further enriched by 1360 m2 of mature garden with a heated pool, located in a calm neighbourhood of regal homes. There are 7 bedrooms, 4 of which have private baths and 390 m2 of inside space on three elegant levels. The house is beautifully decorated in a French style, and really feels like a home from home for all visitors.

Accommodation Facilities

Bedrooms: First Floor
On this floor are three good sized double bedrooms, two with ensuite facilities, and a family bathroom. Each bedroom has its own unique style! The beds have top quality linens, mattressses and covers, and are all doubles.

Second floor
Here you'll find four double bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, and a family bathroom. There is also a central lounge area, making this floor ideal for a family who want to stay together and have their own private space. The beds have top quality linens, mattressses and covers, and are doubles, except for one bedroom which has two singles.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob and extractor, fridge/freezer and drinks fridge. The laundry room has washer/dryer and separate sink.
Living Rooms: Enter the large hall that gives access through high French doors to the salon and dining room. The 50 sqm lounge has doors opening onto the rear south facing terrace, so you'll get plenty of sun and light.

Linen/Cleaning/Towels etc: Linen & towels included.
Outside: The salt water pool is heated, should the temperature fall below 28 C. The pool is protected by a security cover. There are a number of different seating and eating areas in the garden, and the summer kitchen/bar has a gas BBQ and a separate gas hob.

The garden faces south east to give sun throughout most of the day, but is also secluded thanks to the walls and trees

A resounding success thanks in large part to the amenities in your house. We knew that finding a home with en-suite accommodation for nearly everyone, similar size double bedrooms throughout, and large enough dining areas was a big ask, but your house had it all.

We love France and your house is just one of the reasons. A day sampling wine in the vineyards then relaxing by the pool with a BBQ – perfect.

Thermal springs make this town a popular lively place all year round, with a casino, a fine range of restaurants as well as cafés, shops, boutiques, and beautiful surrounding countryside that offers sport and leisure activities of all varieties. Canoeing, walking climbing... Whatever you fancy! Situated 35 minutes from the coast, midway between Cracassonne and Montpellier, so it's ideally positioned for exploring the area or taking a trip to the seaside. Golf, tennis and swimming are all available locally, as is so much more. The area is also one of the largest wine producing regions in France, with many local vineyards and cellars offering tasting and visits.
