‘We had a great holiday!’

We had a great holiday. The place was better than expected, felt your pictures accurately reflected the property. It was exactly what we were looking for, a nice clean house with good outside eating area a stones throw from a lovely beach in a nice place with good quality shops close by. Our 6 yr old daughter and her friend loved it. First time in Brittany - so now we know what the fuss is all about. Small criticisms would be lack of bath towels and tea towels - we bought some and luckily had some beach towels so no big deal in the end. No basic condiments supplied i.e. salt and pepper (again we did bring salt by chance). Some house rules grated, the umbrellas on the terrace we were told could not be used on the table, seemed stupid so we ignored this rule, we always took them down when we were out in case of wind. The quality of the umbrellas were pretty poor actually, not that we cared that much but it is a small detail that would make a difference if we stayed again. Apart from that we loved the place, helped that the weather was fantastic for the whole week , so you can't take all the credit.
‘Love the place’

Love the place - we have now stayed a total of 3 weeks over 2 years and it hasn't rained once. the beach location and the terrace are the main attraction but also like the charming shops in Clohars Carnoet for food (ie croissants). I would be very worried if the weather was poor though as the house is rather gloomy, although we are quite fond of it now for some reason. The new parasol was welcome, as did comment last year on the rusty old one. One of our guests brought sharp knives - which was useful as the ones provided aren't great but didn't expect it to be like master chef.
