Les Myrtes is situated in the tiny quartier of Les Adrechs, north of Bargemon and is 1.7 km from the centre of the village. There is a large terrace with a beautiful aspect of the mountains, the villages of Bargemon and Claviers and, in the distance, the Mediterranean.The garden is well maintained, has adjoining terraces for olive trees and a large swimming pool (with safety alarm).
The villa sleeps 8 and has 4 double bedrooms all with their own shower/basin.w.c. The three main bathrooms also have baths. There is a large sitting-room and a loggia/dining room attached to sitting-room. The fully fitted kitchen has two fridges, gas cooker, electric oven, micro-wave and mini-oven, dishwasher. The larder/cellier is equipped with washing machine and drier and one wine fridge. The TV and CD/Radio have access to all main UK channels/wavelengths (bring your Skycard). Not suitable for children under 8.
Area/Local Activities
The Haut-Var is one of the most spectacular parts of France. Bargemon itself is a fascinating old village with fine ramparts. Seillans (15 minutes) is another famously beautiful place, as are also Mons and Chateaudouble. Many of the villages (including Callas) have music festivals in the summer. There are also weekly markets. The Verdon Gorges are wonderful. Cannes and St. Tropez are both about one hour away.
Draguignan has all the major supermarkets and other facilities. There are also good shops at Fayence where there is an excellent supermarket. Bargemon itself can provide all essentials. There are 6 restaurants in Bargemon as well as a hotel and several bars. The house is ideally situated between three top class golf-courses, all about 25 minutes drive.
