This lovely villa is situated in Les Rairies, between Angers and Le Mans (for the motor enthusiasts), one of the main chateau regions of France. Set in a landscaped garden of 5500m2 with an ornamental fish pond, a swimming pool (9m x 4m) will be completed in May 2007, and children's play area with swings. The property is completely fenced all round with electric gates.

The property, 180m2, comprises of 4 double bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people (10 can be accommodated if required). With 2 double bedded rooms, 1 room with 2 single beds and 1 room with bunk beds. All linen supplied. The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, etc. The lounge/diner has television/dvd player. 1 bathroom with separate toilet 1 shower room & toilet with washing machine. South westerly terrace with B-B-Q.The swimming pool is not shown as it is being put in the first week of May, that is why we have started out availability as from June 2007.

Area/Local Activities

Les Rairies is well known for its hand made terra cotta tiles, and we are situated on the edge of the village, being in a tranquil area, surrounded by the local chateau forest but being within easy walking distance of the bakers, 2 bar/restuarants and the butcher/grocery shop and post office. So a pleasant walk 4-5minute walk to collect your still warm baguette & croissants. Being close to the Loir river, canoeing available locally as well as horse riding, whilst at the farm you can see the goats and the local cheese is made here. Being a generally very flat area, cycling here is a must, a great way to see the local countryside and the forest de Chambiers. Durtal is the nearest village and has a super chateau, chemist, and various small shops and bar/restaurants. There are two small supermarkets where you can buy almost anything. The town of La Fleche, 15 kms away, offers sailing on a man-made lake which also has a beach and swimming area.
