Nestling in the heart of peaceful Aveyron countryside, this beautifully restored south facing farmhouse offers a wonderfully relaxing holiday home. It is large, light and airy with highest quality fixtures. The large country-style kitchen is equipped with a full- size table and chairs, American type fridge/freezer, dishwasher etc. There is also a CD player with some CDs, but do bring some music of your choice. Adjacent to the kitchen is the utility room and washing machine. This leads to the downstairs cloakroom. Across the hallway is the dining room. Doors from here lead onto the patio and pool area as they do from the 'summer lounge'.  With satellite TV and numerous Sky channels, it is ideal for youngsters to take a break from the pool. There is a video player and a selection of cassettes. On the first floor is the master double bedded room with a superb view over the pool and terrace area and a large en-suite with bath, shower and twin hand basins. There is a further twin bedded room and bathroom and a large double bedroom with en-suite. Accessed from the landing area or separately by an external staircase you will find the 'winter lounge' which offers a cool comfortable 'get-away' room. On the top floor there is a fully equipped bathroom and two twin bedded rooms. All bedrooms are light and airy with soft colours and delightfully furnished. A cot and high chair are available.

The swimming pool measures 12m x 5m with a constant depth of 1.3m throughout which is sited in the delightfully lawned gardens of almost one acre. For the more energetic there are two bicycles, badminton, boules, paddling pool and various pool toys. There are pool toys, paddling pool, boules, BBQ and books.

Area/Local Activities

This beautiful and as yet hardly discovered area of south-west France is steeped in history and offers a quiet relaxing holiday for those interested in wonderful scenery, unspoiled French charm and excellent markets, food and drink. The property is accessible to the wonderful town of St Antonin Noble Val, a wonderful 13th Century town. Nearby are Medieval villages, Bastide towns, Chateaux, Abbeys, Churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering River Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.

Horse riding, canoeing, fishing, bird watching, rail trips, rock climbing, wine tasting, museums, pot-holing, tennis and of course walking. Golf is available at Albi (18-hole delightful course), where there is also a water-park for children. An afternoon's excursion by canoe through the Aveyron Gorge is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.
