The Vines is situated in the heart of rural France, on the borders of Burgundy, Allier, Auvergne and the Central. Both the Farmhouse and Cottages are set in the grounds of a small Vineyard and Orchards. Close by is the beautiful forest of Troncais, with lakes, beaches and watersports

The Farmhouse accommodation comprises of 3 Bedrooms: 1 Double, 2 Twin bedded rooms. bathroom and toilet upstairs. Toilet and shower room downstairs. The Farmhouse has a large French style live in Lounge-Kitchen with wood burner. The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave, dishwasher etc. Patio doors leading to a large patio area and the swimming pool, Garden Furniture and BBQ.

Area/Local Activities

The area has several excellent restaurants, village markets, Chateau and museums to visit. Approximately half an hours drive away, is the Formula 1 race track at Magny-Cours with Go-Karting and 18 hole Golf course. The area has several excellent restaurants, village markets, Chateau and museums to visit.

Probably the loveliest aspect of our area is the TRONCAIS FORESTS, said to be the oldest and largest oak forests in Europe. There are lakes, some with sandy beaches, where you can picnic and swim. For the more energetic; you can walk, run or cycle around these lovely forests, taking in the wildlife etc, on the way. And of course there is always fishing...
