Situated on the edge of La Foret des Landes de Gasgogne, Manoir Serinitas has been completed to a very high standard. Two large electric gates open onto the tree lined chemin that leads to the house. Two large mahogany doors open onto a very large but cosy main lounge furnished with period and Antique furniture. A second Lounge is smaller and more intimate with t.v, dvd. The fully equipped kitchen (including large cooker, 2 fridges, 2 washing machines, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves) and is very spacious. The lovely dining room has seating for eighteen people. All bedrooms are en-suite, eight bedrooms are upstairs with the ninth downstairs.  Highchairs and cot available. There are 11 toilets.

 The Games Room is equipped with - table tennis , pool table , dart board , flip football , exercise machines and its own toilet. The wonderful Covered Arbri is arranged with two large tables seating 18 persons, easy chairs, and a built in BBQ.

To the rear are the woods and tennis court. There is floodlit pétanque. The garden sits in 8.5 acres of land, all surrounded by pine woods. These woods extend as far as Arcachon and Biscarrosse to the west and Biarritz to the south west. The pool is large being 12 x 9 x 6 mtr, heated and floodlit at night, alarmed .

Area/Local Activities

Manoir Serenitas is situated just outside the small village of Fargues-sur-Ourbise, which has the usual small shops (1.5km walk). For larger shopping, restaurants and markets Casteljaloux is only 8 mins away. Just on the edge of the town is a golf course, very large lake with sandy beach, fishing, swimming, restaurant on the jetty, huge children's slide, and walks through pine forests.

Marmande about 20 mins away holds many festivals and music evenings throughout the summer. Nerac is only 15 mins away - this is a village steeped in Mediaeval History. La Foret Des Landes De Gascogne goes all the way to the coast and the drive through them is a delight. The coast is about 90mins away. A short drive away is the Médoc/Bordeaux area with 240 Chateaux. Monsegur has an International Jazz festival every year in June. Most towns have their own wonderful Market days.
