Domaine de Bramefant is approached by its own drive of 400 metres off a small country lane, and although totally secluded is only approximately 15 kilometres from Bergerac and 9 kilometres from Ste Foy la Grande, each with their traditional French markets. 

Kitchen/dining room has Falcon "range" cooker, fridge freezer, Miele dishwasher, Whirlpool Microwave and all essential kitchen appliances. The dining area has 2 antique dressers and a large old farmhouse table that can easily seat up to 8 people comfortably. Living room - spacious room which includes fireplace with Jotul wood burner, TV/Satelite, DVD/ StereoBedroom 1 has a 1.6m wide bed, en-suite bathroom with corner bath. Glazed door leading out onto the covered terrace. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroomwith en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 - is a suite consisting of a cosy living room, bathroom and bedroom. The lobby has stairs to the bedroom, Zanussi washing machine and door to the en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has 1.80m x 2.00m canopied bed, several Persian and oriental carpets, balcony windows with stunning views, and seperate dressing room.

 

Grounds: Large (fenced) 75m2 'L' shaped, infinity pool (with water fall end), good lawns for children to play, barbecue. Vineyards surround the property, in which the "viticulteurs" may occasionally be working in.  A  covered terrace gives the freedom to dine outside, whatever the weather.

Area/Local Activities

Domaine de Bramefant is just 1.5 kilometres from the village of Saussignac, which has a shop selling bread, a restaurant, post office and a small market on Friday Mornings.

The property is within easy reach of all Dordogne's renowned attractions ( the river Dordogne is just minutes away at Gardonne), historic caves, bastide towns, chateaux, canoeing on the rivers, aqua parks, beautiful country walks, horse riding, golf at Chateau des Vigiers just 5 minutes away, evening markets in July and August in the bastide town of Eymet, fantastic perigourdine restaurants, St Emillion, Monbazillac, Issigeac are beautiful places to visit and there is wine tasting everywhere!!
