It boasts a strategic geographical position, very accessible and ideal to discover the region. The  villa is tastefully designed and benefits from an exceptional  setting.  

Outside, entrance and parking are private, just like the garden-terrace with its romantic shelter.   Inside, a veranda with sliding roof and a large lounge, with modern wood-burner, useful on days when the sun is less generous. The fully equipped kitchen, in wood and marble, is open and pleasant, looking out simultaneously over lounge, pool and forest.  4 large bedrooms with large or small beds, 2 large tiled bathrooms, furnished veranda with sliding roof, lovely  terrace with romantic shelter.

An independent, inter-connecting gite,  for 2 to 4 people. Cosy and fully-equipped. It is charmingly designed and traditionally built with exposed beams and tiled floors. All comforts are provided. The  fully self-contained apartment gives directly onto the terrace and illuminated pool. The  bedroom can have a double bed or twin beds, and a cot can be provided, as well as a convertible sofa in the  living room.

Area/Local Activities

At the hub of 3 regions: To the north the Correze , southernmost 'département' of the Limousin region. The Lot, in the north of the Midi-Pyrénées region, formerly the 'Quercy', is rich in historic sites, grottos and gastronomy. The river Dordogne, former river highway, flanked with castles, crosses the Périgord, then the rest of the Aquitaine to throw itself into the sea at Bordeaux. Even though you are in a peaceful part of the country, there are many activities not far away. A modern 18-hole golf course is only a kilometre away, with an excellent restaurant. One of the many local nature trails for hikers and bikers runspast. The nearby Dordogne River offers fishing , canoeing and other activities. The cliffs afford rock climbing, and  grottos potholing. Horse-riding is also well catered for. The busy market towns of Souillac and historic Sarlat are close by.  If you want something to do, there are many historical sites, beautiful villages, castles, grottos and gardens to visit. There are parks with wild animals, eagles and reptiles, and even dinosaurs! Hot-air balloons, delta-planes, ULMs, steam trains or horse-drawn caravans can help you experience the landscape differently. In a lazier mood, you'll find some shade on a cafe terrace with a long cool drink. Or a table laden with gastronomical wonders....
