Villa St Gervais is a detached cottage set in large private grounds of half an acre. It nests in a quiet wooded area, 9 miles from Vendee sandy beaches. This well-equipped self-catering accommodation sleeps 4 to 8. It's THE perfect place for a relaxing holiday! The house is ideally located to explore the beautiful resorts and islands of the Atlantic Coast! Completely refurbished 2 years ago, the house offers all modern conveniences.

Bedrooms:
The main bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 bunk beds and a cot.
In the lounge there are two double sofa beds for extra sleeping options. Bedding is provided for all beds except the cot.
Bathrooms:
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a bidet and a sink. There is a separate WC.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has double doors to the decking area and includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, gas cooker & oven, kettle and a breakfast table. Other equipment includes a washing machine and ironing equipment.
Living Rooms:
The dining room contains a large oak table with 8 chairs. In the lounge there are 2 double sofa beds, a colour TV, a radio/CD player, bookshelves with a selection of French & English books and an easy chair.
Other Rooms:
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
Bedding such as quilt covers, pillow cases is provided. Cleaning products and kitchen towels supplied. Bathroom towels are not supplied.
Outside:
From the kitchen, French windows lead onto the rear decking area and the rear garden. The garden furniture includes an extendable wooden table and 6 chairs, 2 wooden deck chairs and a large parasol. BBQ available.
Bikes are provided to explore the surrounding country lanes and the coastal paths.
The gardens feature maritime pine and oak trees.
There is a private 4.5 metre diameter pool.

Activities at the villa and in the surrounding areas include: walking, cycling (bikes provided), horse-riding, bird-watching, canoeing, golfing and of course visiting beaches (distance to the nearest beach 9 miles).
The countryside is varied, from the hills and forests of continental Vendée to the marshlands and winding roads of the Marais Breton Vendéen, and the gently sloping sandy beaches along the coast.
Notable places to visit include the charming island of Noirmoutier (10 miles), the bustling town of La Rochelle (85 miles), the fishing towns of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (16 miles), Pornic (23 miles) and Les Sables d'Olonne (25 miles) and the amazing Puy-du-Fou theme park (60 miles), which features a massive medieval fort, the stage for battles with special effects and for the Cinéscénie show, regarded as one of the greatest sound-and-light shows in Europe.
