We offer a well-equipped wheel chair friendly barn having an open-plan living area with exposed beams, brickwork and a wood burning stove. All linen & towels are provided plus a welcoming pack of essential supplies to save you stopping en route.
There is a south facing sun porch with garden furniture, ideal for bird watching plus outside patio area with its own furniture, gas barbecue and plunge pool for your use. Separately we have a garden with children's play frame, sand pit and more and washing lines. These are fenced off as we have two large dogs who are not allowed in the barn, garden or patio areas. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, trial-biking, bird-watching with forests, wolf sanctuary, maze, museums and lake offering water sports within 20 minutes.

South facing sun porch leads off with garden chairs and tables facing the garden area and fields to link up to rear driveway which is the front entrance to the barn and offers level parking

Cleaning is done once a week - should you require this more often there will be a small charge.
Bedlinen, bath mats and towels for the shower rooms are provided. The beds will be made up ready for your arrival. Tea & kitchen towels, oven gloves, cleaning cloths and products are there too and also table cloths and serviettes for that special meal. Two hair dryers are there for your use.
Outside:
Our patio area comes with garden chairs, sun beds, umberellas and table. Cushions are provided. There is also a gas barbecue and plunge pool for your use. Opposite a swing frame plus climbing ropes are there for the children as well as a sand pit and toys, ride on toys and paddling pool. Each are in their own fenced off area as we have 2 large dogs who are not allowed in there

We are surrounded by fields, farms, woods and forests in the peaceful Creuse where wild animals and birds abound. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, trial-biking, bird-watching with forests, wolf sanctuary, maze, museums, 9 hole golf course and lake offering water sports within 20 minutes and within the Limoges area Oradour-sur-Glane, theme parks, Aquarium, Limoges porcelain, Lake Vassiviere. Aubusson in the opposite direction is the home of tapestry and the Crozant area was and is a favourite with artists including Monet. There are weekly and bi-weekly markets nearby, many car-boot sales and fetes promoting local produce throughout the year. Lunch is usually available plus a variety of stalls.
Winter sports are available in the Massif Central, Mont Dore is our neareat mountain about 2 hours away. Skis, snowboards and toboggans can all be hired, there is a shop for ski wear plus restaurants which make for a reasonably priced fun day out for all the family.
Our local restaurants serve a variety of tasty dishes from the local delicacies to McDonalds, only 1 allowed in the Creuse!
Should you wish to stay for a week-end or part of a week please enquire for availability. Dates do not have to be Saturday to Saturday. Open all year round
