There is also a utility room with washer, freezer and ironing facilities The ground floor is completed with a stunning conservatory with patio doors leading to the patio and pool area. On the first floor there are 1 double and 1 twin bedroom and a bathroom with separate shower cubicle , wash basin and w.c. The cottage enjoys central heating and is available all year round.
Local facilities include the bar 'Chez Andre' in Locarn (2 Km), which sells a small selection of groceries. Mael-Carhaix has 2 small mini markets, 2 banks, bars, restaurants, boulangerie, chemist and garage. Larger shopping centres are to be found at Rostrenen and Carhaix-Plougher, both having three large supermarkets plus many other shops.
Visit the old Abbey, Bon Repos, take an evening cruise on the lake and enjoy on board dining. Sailing and water skiing is also available on the lake. Visit the the Gorge du Corong just minutes away from the cottage. Mael Carhaix has a beautiful lake which is suitable for swimming. Pedalo hire is available during the summer. There are also extensive water gardens to admire.
