General Property Description
Mas Saint-Antoine consists of a 17th Century renovated Mas or Farmhouse with the outbuildings converted into 6 additional fully equipped gites (guest houses), all set in 2/3rds of an acre surrounded by orchards. Our landscaped gardens include a shared 12 x 6m swimming pool, pond & waterfall.

The Mas sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin, all with en-suite bathrooms). It has a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, wall oven, electric hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is a large separate living room with TV/DVD, fire place and enough room to seat 8 people comfortably. Off the kitchen is a dining room next with a large table that can sit upto 12 people. You have your own laundry and area for hanging out your washing. The Mas also has a large outdoor dining terrace with seated area in front of the BBQ. The outdoor area is very private and is well lit for those long summer evenings. Wi Fi is accessible at the Mas and is free of charge
Accommodation Facilities
Bedrooms: Upstairs is the master bedroom with king size bed. There are two other rooms each with two single beds. Downstairs off the lounge is another double room with double bed. All rooms have fans and plenty of room for hanging clothes.
Bathrooms: Each bedoom has its own ensuite. The master bedroom also has a bath. One of the twin rooms only has a shower and hand basin with the toilet being close outide in the hallway.
Kitchen: The kitchen is open plan and has enough crockery and cutlery for two or more settings. It is well set up with more than enough platters and cooking untensils.
Living Rooms: 2 large comfy sofas and another sofa which folds out into a bed if required. There is TV with French TV and a DVD player. A selection of DVDs are available.
Other Rooms: The dining room is off the kitchen and is plenty large enough for 8 or more. The laundry also off the kitchen had a washing machine and large fridge freezer. From the laundry room you can access the outdoor area for hanging up the washing
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc: All linens and house towels/tea towels are provided and beds will be made up before you arrive.
Outside: There is a nice seating area around the bbq and also a large outdoor dining area covered with grapes for you to enjoy at your leisure. There is plenty of outdoor lights for your comfort.
Additional notes (if any): Although we prefer change over to be on a Saturday we are flexible and can accomodate short or long term rentals. Please ask via email.

Mas Saint-Antoine is on the road between Avignon and St-Remy-de-Provence and only 400 metres from the village of Rognonas. You are an easy walk or drive from 4 bakeries, grocery store, pharmacy, two bars and restaurants.

The city of Avignon is but a seven minute drive away. For the non drivers, there is regular daily bus service into Avignon and the surrounding towns of Arles, Chateaurenard and St Rémy. For the explorers, the Luberon and its famous villages is 30 minutes away to the east while the north offers you Orange and Chateauneuf du Pape within the same amount of time. The Pont du Gard and Nimes are within 45 minutes to the west while the south gives you St Rémy, les Alpilles and its picturesque villages as well as Arles, Tarascon and Baucaire within 20 minutes.

For the more adventurous, a 45 to 60 minute drive will take you to Marseille or the beautiful village of Cassis for a dip in the sea. The Camargue, with Les Saintes Maries de la Mer and Aigues Mortes, is also within an hour's drive from the house.
