General Property Description

Mas Saint-Antoine consists of a 17th Century renovated Mas or Farmhouse with the outbuildings converted into 6 additional fully equipped gites, set in 2/3rds of an acre surrounded by orchards. Our landscaped gardens include a shared 12 x 6m swimming pool, pond, waterfall & secluded seating areas

Chez Pauline is a renovated stable (50m2), which has been converted into a delightful one bedroom Gite. It is one of 4 Gites suitable for 2 people at Mas Saint Antoine. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, radio/CD player etc. There is a separate lounge and the combined kitchen/dining room has a window opening onto a private shaded terrace with gas BBQ and patio furniture. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with french doors opening onto a private terrace. Whilst we prefer Saturdays for change over we are flexible and we can cater for short or long term rentals. Please enquire through e-mail for further details.

Accommodation Facilities

Bedrooms:	King size bed with french doors opening onto a private terrace
Bathrooms:	Ensuite with shower and hand basin with ample storage for toiletries. The toilet in its own room is off the bedroom next to the bathroom.
Kitchen:	Open plan kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas oven and hobs, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery
Living Rooms:	2 comfortable chairs and TV with lovely afternoon sun
Other Rooms:	Dining room off the kitchen with windows opening out onto a private outdoor dining area
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:	Linen is provided and the bed will be made up for you. House towels and tea towels are supplied as well as cleaning products although we can provide a cleaning service for a small cost at the end of your stay
Outside:	Large private outdoor area. Seating and small table off the bedroom accessed through double doors and a large outdoor dining table off the kitchen/dining area accessed via large windows that open out. There is a gas bbq for your sole use and laundry facilities are shared
Additional notes (if any):	As well as standard self-catered "gite" accommodation, we offer a range of services to make Mas Saint-Antoine "more than just a gite", ranging from local information, pickups & drop offs, to poolside BBQ and pizza evenings or indulge in a Provencal night under the plane tree. Sit and relax by the pool or enjoy a game of boule with new found friends.

Local Area / Activities

Mas Saint-Antoine is on the road between Avignon and St-Remy-de-Provence and only 400 metres from the village of Rognonas. You are an easy walk or drive from 4 bakeries, grocery store, pharmacy, two bars and restaurants.

The city of Avignon is but a seven minute drive away. For the non drivers, there is regular daily bus service into Avignon and the surrounding towns of Arles, Chateaurenard and St Rémy. For the explorers, the Luberon and its famous villages is 30 minutes away to the east while the north offers you Orange and Chateauneuf du Pape within the same amount of time. The Pont du Gard and Nimes are within 45 minutes to the west while the south gives you St Rémy, les Alpilles and its picturesque villages as well as Arles, Tarascon and Baucaire within 20 minutes.

For the more adventurous, a 45 to 60 minute drive will take you to Marseille or the beautiful village of Cassis for a dip in the sea. The Camargue, with Les Saintes Maries de la Mer and Aigues Mortes, is also within an hour's drive from the house.

Avignon airport is approx 10 minutes away with Nimes and Marseille only 45 minutes away. Avignon TGV is approx 7 mins away.
