Newly renovated light and airy gite suitable for two persons who are looking for a relaxing holiday in this relatively undiscovered region of the Midi-Pyrenees. Close by there is much to discover including stunning river gorges with many marked walks and beautiful medieval hilltop villages.
The gite has recently been renovated and offers light and airy accommodation for two persons looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday yet within easy reach of many local activities.
We are surrounded by farmland and have two stables for self livery if guests require this -an extra charge would apply. One small well-behaved dog may be allowed. The gite has south facing views over owners field (which is fenced and gated) and surrounding farmland.
The pool area has decking and is alarmed when not in use. Off road parking is available. There is a table tennis table available on a terrace by the pool area and a gas bbq, solely for guests use by the large patio to the front of the gite. This area has a large wooden table (with parasol) and chairs, an ideal spot for a relaxing glass of wine after a busy days sightseeing.

Bedrooms:
Light and airy bedroom with beamed vaulted ceiling and a large double glazed window with views over owners land and surrounding countryside. There is a king size bed which can be split into two if required, bedside cabinets with reading lamps. A small shelved alcove houses a selection of reading material. Large walk-in wardrobe with independent lighting and plenty of storage space.
Bathrooms:
Modern en-suite shower room comprising large shower cubicle with both static and flexible shower heads, glass wash basin with cupboards and drawers below and a large back lit mirror above. W.C and towel rails (All bathroom towels are included in rental price).
Kitchen:
Large fully equipped kitchen with plentiful cupboards and worktops, modern sink,breakfast bar separates the kitchen lounge/dining area. The large window overlooks part of a shady garden area.
Kitchen comprises full size oven with hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, toaster, kettle,coffee maker, ironing board and iron. Full range of crockery and utensils are provided.
Living Rooms:
Large light and airy living/dining area having beamed vaulted ceiling with inset lighting and cool ceramic tiled floor. There is a three seater settee and an additional armchair, coffee table with shelves and a dining table which seats four. A TV which shows English free satellite channels,DVD player with a small selection of DVD's for guests use and a portable radio/CD player. Dual aspect windows

Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
All bed linen bathroom and kitchen towels are provided. Gite to be left as found on departure. Gas/electricity/water included in rental price. Refundable breakages deposit of 100 Euros to be held until departure or after inspection.
Outside:
There is a patio area to the front of the gite with a large table and chairs for outside dining, also a large garden containing plentiful trees and shrubs. A barbeque and sun loungers are provided. Guests also have use of owners pool. The gite is situated in a courtyard adjacent to owners house in a quiet lane, 1km and within easy walking distance from the village which has full amenities.

All kitchen and bed linen and bathroom towels are included in rental prices as is electricity, gas and water.
Due to the fact there are steps down to the courtyard and up into the gite this property may not be suitable for those who have difficulty in walking. We have two dogs who would love to join you for a stroll around our field, this area is fenced and gated and separate from the gite.

There are many activities within easy reach including canoeing/kayaking on the Rivers Aveyron and Viaur, many marked walks, and beautiful medieval villages and towns including stunning Najac and Cordes-sur-Ciel with their cobbled streets and interesting artisan shops and restaurants are within an easy 45 minute drive.
Our main small city is beautiful Albi which has recently achieved UNESCO World heritage status, set on the banks of the River Tarn you will find an abundance of interesting shops,cafes and restaurants - a good 'people watching' town. Albi also hosts many sporting events throughout the year, the imposing cathedral - which is the largest brick built in the world - and the famous Toulouse Lautrec gallery/museum are a must see. An 18 hole golf course can be found just outside the city. Further afield historic castles abound. The city of Toulouse is one and a half hours away and hosts the 'Space City' and also the Airbus project. Many festivals are held during the Summer whether it be music or a medieval torchlight procession during Bastille week in July, a must see are the fireworks in Albi held on the River Tarn on Bastille night (14th July).
