General Property Description

Situated on the banks of the river Vire, Le Moulin de Fervaches is an idyllic escape from the pace of modern life. River with rowing boats and large private woodland grounds. BBQ areas. Le Moulin estate comprises of two properties of differing styles but the highest of luxury.

La Maison is a centuries old Norman house lovingly restored and updated to the highest standards with luxury accommodation for up to six people.

Le Moulin, residing on it’s own private island between the mill streams, is a contemporary property on the upper floor of this ancient watermill with accommodation for up to four people.

Accommodation Facilities

Bedrooms:	La Maison: master bedroom suite, second bedroom has a super king size bed and river views. A third bedroom is arranged as two singles to provide flexibility. Le Moulin: There are two bedrooms, the first a super king double and the second as two singles.
Bathrooms:
Kitchen:	Fully equipped kitchen in each property.
Living Rooms:	La Maison: Living and dining salon with stone walls, large fireplace and full length windows giving stunning views of the river. Le Moulin: an open plan, glass fronted living area.
Other Rooms:
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:	The property is always prepared for you when you arrive with fresh linen and towels, milk, butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge.
Outside:	Each property has its own private outdoor BBQ area for you to enjoy the wonderful local produce. Situated on the banks of the river Vire, we provide two boats for you to explore the river to your hearts content.

Local Area / Activities

As to be expected the area has many delightful restaurants from local bistros through to Michelin starred haute cuisine. If you would rather eat at home each property has a fully fitted kitchens and private BBQ area for you to enjoy the wonderful local produce.

There are plenty of local walks along the river or further afield there are magnificent destinations within 1 hour's drive including the Normandy coast and Le Mont St Michel.

For shopping, Tessy-Sur-Vire, our local town is just a few minutes away for wonderful artisan bakers, butchers and grocers. Larger supermarkets are available a short drive away in St Lo.

The river Vire is the major river of the Manche. We provide two boats for you to explore the river to your hearts content.
