Les Prinquières is set in 8 acres of our own pastures and woodland to wander through at your leisure, collecting chestnuts and walnuts which, are in abundance when in season. There is also a small fishing lake where Kingfishers can frequently be seen.
Although Le Four à Pain is one of four gîtes, it is set apart from the other 3 and is therefore more secluded and private, nestling on the edge of a small woodland yet not enclosed, it has it’s own patio with table and chairs, outside lighting and gas bar-b-que.This romantic cottage has been designed for couples only and is on one level, it is a comfortably furnished room with a pine double bed, sofa and occasional table, with ample drawers and cupboards for your clothes and possessions, from the bedroom there is a fully tiled en-suite shower room with cubicle shower, vanity unit and W.C. The separate kitchen/diner has a full cooker, washing machine, microwave, coffee-maker, a fridge with separate freezer compartment, iron and ironing board, whilst the dining area has French doors leading out to the secluded patio.

The bedroom has a pine double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and a wardrobe, there is an en-suite shower room

The en-suite shower room has a shower cubicle, vanity unit and WC
Kitchen:
The kitchen/diner has double aspect windows and double french doors opening onto the patio, there is a full cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms:
The living area is at the end of the bedroom and has a 2 seat sofa and coffee table with a assortment of books and a radio/cd player

Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
Bed linen is provided and the bed will be made up ready for your arrival; A hand towel and tea towels are provided for the kitchen along with oven gloves, a hairdryer is also provided. Towels can be provided at your request for a small charge
Outside:
The patio has a gas BBQ, table and chairs with outside lighting.There is a 10 x 5 metre floodlit pool with terraces to lounge in the summer sun, a pool house with fridge and a covered dining area, complete with traditional barbeque. Plenty of sun beds, chairs and parasols are provided for your comfort. There is also table tennis, badminton and a boules court

Weekly bar-b-que’s are organised by the pool, with wine and salad, bread and cheese provided for any guests wishing to join in.
Situated in a peaceful rural location between Gourdon and Sarlat-La-Canéda on the Dordogne/Lot border, we are easily reached by road with the Souillac exit of the A20 motorway 9 miles distant. We also have four airports to choose from, Toulouse, Limoges, and Bergerac
