Welcome to La Source Tranquille, our oasis of calm in Mouy, France. We are located just one hour from Paris and 90 minutes from the Cote d'Opale in the north of France, and we are perfectly central being just 25 minutes from Beauvais, Chantilly and Senlis.
Whilst our gîte is beautifully quiet we are just 400m from the village centre with its shops and bakeries. Our fully furnished, two double-bedroomed Gîte sleeps 4 and is available for rent from two nights to longer term. Completed in 2011 the Gîte offers high-quality accommodation with everything you could need for your home from home.

Accommodation Facilities
Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 has a large (160cm) double bed, with a character arched window, exposed beams and a velux.
Bedroom 2 has two large (90cm) beds which can be made into one extra large double.
Both rooms have oak wardrobes and drawers, along with bedside tables with lamps and ipod chargers.
Bathrooms:
Bathroom upstairs has a large built in shower, wc and hand basin, along with a heated towel rail and mirror.
Kitchen:
The well-equipped kitchen has all new appliances including a Smeg fridge freezer, Siemens oven and hob and a Bosch dishwasher. There is also a microwave, a coffee machine, kettle and toaster, and a food-processort. There is a washer dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms:
The large open-plan living room features two large sofas (one of which can be converted into a bed for occasional guests), a large flat-screen TV and blu-ray player. There is a selection of books and DVDs and a hifi for your own CDs.
Other Rooms:
The Dining area has a table with seating for 4, with fabulous views through large double-glazed windows into the garden.
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
All linen and towels are included, along with all other costs (like electricity, heating etc) so you'll receive no unexpected charges at the end of your stay. Wifi is available throughout and there is a hairdryer in each bedroom.
Outside:
You have exclusive use of a private part of the garden which is not overlooked. Here you'll find a covered area with a table and seating for eating outdoors, along with sun loungers and a BBQ. There is a larger part of the garden with a trampoline and football net for children.
Next to the gite is a large games room with a table-tennis table and table football.

Local Area / Activities
Within 25 minutes are the historic towns of Chantilly, Senlis and Beauvais. Further afield we have Amiens and Compiegne to the north, and Paris to the south. There is a train station within a 10 minute walk which links to Paris; you can be at the Gare du Nord within an hour of leaving the Gite.
For children we have Parc Asterix only 30 minutes away, and Disneyland is within an hour.
