But that is only the house. Outside there are various dining areas including a covered summer kitchen,a barbecue, a solar heated pool with surrounding terrace with loungers and chairs, large lawns where you can play badminton and croquet, a boules pitch, and also an enclosed games room with darts, table tennis, table football and a multigym, all for the exclusive and private use of our guests. The area offers many other activities and many historic and other sights of interest. Only 45 minutes from the west coast resorts such as La Rochelle, 20 minutes from the canals and waterways of the Marais Poitevin, 10 minutes from the national park forest of Mervent, La Fleur de Lys is the ideal base from which to explore the region, or simply relax by the pool sampling the local produce and, of course, the wine.

Bedroom 2 has double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables.
Bedroom 3 has 3 single beds, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside table.
Bedroom 4 has 4-poster double bed and a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
Bathrooms:
Bathroom 1 has Bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC
Bathroom 2 has shower cubicle, hand basin and WC
Bathroom 3 has shower cubicle, hand basin and WC
Bedroom 4 has shower cubicle, hand basin and WC and is en-suite to bedroom 4.
Kitchen:
Spacious kitchen with centre island. Electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, micro-wave oven. Lots of cupboard space. Lots of utensils and dishes. There is a covered eating area set on the small lawn in front of the kitchen
Living Rooms:
Lounge with 2 large settees, and other chairs. Widescreen TV with Sky, DVD player, Games, books and DVD's.
Other Rooms:
Dining room with large oak table and chairs. This room has french windows opening to the small front lawn. There is also a WC just off this room.
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
All bed linen is provided as well as bath and hand towels. Tea towels, dishcloths also provided. There is a washing machine in the groundfloor WC.
Outside:
In the summer kitchen there is a large dining table with 10 chairs. Under a canopy are comfortable chairs and coffee table. The heated swimming pool has a terrace with 6 loungers and other chairs and tables with sun umbrellas.The barbecue is positioned just off the summer kitchen, and the games room just behind.
