La Boulangerie is a spacious 2 bedroomed gite which makes an ideal holiday retreat. Downstairs, there is a spacious kitchen, dining area and lounge full of character. Large fireplace still showing the baker's oven. Huge oak beams. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer, coffee-maker, toaster, etc. The lounge is comfortably furnished with settee, easy chairs, coffee table, DVD and video player. The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and wash-hand basin. Upstairs, there is one twin bedroom and a large double bedroom with sitting area. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and recently decorated. Outside, the gîte is situated by a very small stream and pleasantly secluded. There is a patio with BBQ, table and chairs and the spacious garden has swings and plenty of space for outdoor games, boules, badminton, etc. Our indoor games room has equipment for table tennis, darts, table football and basket ball.

Bedrooms:
There is a very spacious double bedroom with high ceiling and exposed beams and stonework. The other bedroom has comfortable twin beds . There is a cot available and this will fit easile into the double bedroom or in the area at the top of the stairs
Bathrooms:
The bathroom is downstairs and has a full size bath with shower over and toilet and basin
Kitchen:
The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc.
Living Rooms:
There is settee, easy chairs, coffee table, dining room table and chairs and T.V., video , D.V.D. player and C.D.player and an original French dresser
Other Rooms:
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
All linen is provided but we ask visitors to bring their own towels.
Outside:
The gite has its own private garden with B.B.Q. ,table and chairs and some swings. There is plenty of space for outdoor games and there is also a large indoor gamesroom with table tennis, table football and a basketball net. There is a badmington and boules area.

The nearest village, St-Clair-sur-Elle provides all the daily needs, having 2 boulangeries, a charcuterie, supermarket, post office, chemist and doctor's surgery, bar and restaurant. St-Lô is only 6 miles away, with a full range of shops, supermarkets, some excellent restaurants and a Saturday market. ELLA is within half an hour's drive of the Normandy landing beaches and the beautiful historic city of Bayeux. Le Mont Saint-Michel, la Suisse Normande and cliff walks in the Cotentin Peninsula are all within easy reach. For the sports minded, there is tennis, cycling, golf, horse riding and kayaking nearby. The area is renowned for its sea and river fishing. There are also activity parks, zoological gardens, many châteaux and historical sites close by. The forest of Cerisy is only 10 minutes away. As a break from driving, there are regular train services from Lison (5 minutes away) to Cherbourg, Bayeux, Paris and Rouen.
