JENNIE is a fully modernised 4 bedroomed gite recently converted from a barn within the grounds of this 17th cenury former farm. Lots of original features have been retained including large beams and exposed stonework. There are some steps up to the gite and then it is on one level except for four steps up to two of the bedrooms. There is a large open plan lounge/diningroom and kitchen with table and chairs, settee, easy chairs and coffee table.The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer,washing machine,dishwasher etc. There is a C.D.,D.V.D. player and video player. There is one double and three twin bedrooms, a large bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and wash hand basin and another separate toilet. Outside is a large garden with patio, B.B.Q and garden furniture and there is a large gamesroom with table tennis, table football, darts and basketball. There is plenty of space for boules and badmington in the garden.

Bedroom 1 has a French style double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers; the floor is wooded with rugs and the ceiling is beamed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, bedside tables and a large built in wardrobe with lots of storage space.The floor is wooden with rugs and the ceiling is beamed.There are 4 steps up the other 2 beamed twin bedrooms which have ample storage space .
Bathrooms:
The bathroom is spacious with toilet,basin, full sizd bath with shower over.The washing washing is also here.
There is an other separate toilet and wash hand basin.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer and dish washer.There is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and microwave.
The table comfortably sits 8.
There is plenty of crockery and kitchen equipment
Living Rooms:
This room is open plan onto the kitchen dining area and has a large setee and easy chairs and coffee table.There is no T.V.reception but there is a video, D.V.D. and C.D. player;
There is also a supply of books and lots of information about the area

Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
All bed linen is provided and the beds will be made up on your arrival.Kitchen towels are also provided but we ask visitors to bring there own towels.

Outside:
The gite has its own private entrance and a large private garden with swings. There is a patio with table and chairs and a B.B.Q.
There is a gamesroom for table tennis, table football, darts and a basket ball net.
There is also a badmington net and plenty of space for other outdoor games.

The nearest village, St-Clair-sur-Elle provides all the daily needs, having 2 boulangeries, a charcuterie, supermarket, post office, chemist and doctor's surgery, bar and restaurant. St-Lô is only 6 miles away, with a full range of shops, supermarkets, some excellent restaurants and a Saturday market. ELLA is within half an hour's drive of the Normandy landing beaches and the beautiful historic city of Bayeux. Le Mont Saint-Michel, la Suisse Normande and cliff walks in the Cotentin Peninsula are all within easy reach. For the sports minded, there is tennis, cycling, golf, horse riding and kayaking nearby. The area is renowned for its sea and river fishing. There are also activity parks, zoological gardens, many châteaux and historical sites close by. The forest of Cerisy is only 10 minutes away. As a break from driving, there are regular train services from Lison (5 minutes away) to Cherbourg, Bayeux, Paris and Rouen.
