ELLA has been converted out of the former stables block and now provides a very comfortable holiday home. Downstairs there is a large openplan lounge/dining room and kitchen furnished with table and chairs, large settee,coffee table and original French dresser. There is Frech T.V.a video, D.V.D. player and C.D. player. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine . There are also two comfortable chairs which fold into single beds. A wooden staircase leads to a generouse double bedroom and bathroom with bath, shower,toilet and wash hand basin. The gite is particularly light with high ceilings and exposed beams. Outside there is ample parking, a private garden with patio, B.B.Q. and garden furniture. Within the grounds there is a large gamesroom with table tennis, table football, darts and basket ball and outside plenty of space for boules and badmington.

Local Area / Activities
The nearest village, St-Clair-sur-Elle provides all the daily needs, having 2 boulangeries, a charcuterie, supermarket, post office, chemist and doctor's surgery, bar and restaurant. St-Lô is only 6 miles away, with a full range of shops, supermarkets, some excellent restaurants and a Saturday market. ELLA is within half an hour's drive of the Normandy landing beaches and the beautiful historic city of Bayeux. Le Mont Saint-Michel, la Suisse Normande and cliff walks in the Cotentin Peninsula are all within easy reach. For the sports minded, there is tennis, cycling, golf, horse riding and kayaking nearby. The area is renowned for its sea and river fishing. There are also activity parks, zoological gardens, many châteaux and historical sites close by. The forest of Cerisy is only 10 minutes away. As a break from driving, there are regular train services from Lison (5 minutes away) to Cherbourg, Bayeux, Paris and Rouen.
