The cottage is thoroughly cleaned at each turn round. The beds will be already made up for you and a pair of towels are provided for each guest.

Private garden and terrace with BBQ and private swimming pool (7.5 x 4.5m) with Roman steps. The pool has a safety cover conforming to the French law. This is strong enough to prevent anyone from falling in by mistake. Set of boules.

The Dordogne is renowned for its cuisine and you are spoiled for the choice of restaurants. Twenty minutes drive from the ancient walled city of Sarlat with its stunning mediaeval architecture and street entertainment. Fifteen miles from the caves of Lascaux and the Prehistoric cave paintings. Ten miles from the Souillac cuntry club which has an eighteen hole golf course. The municipal tennis courts of Salignac are two miles away. You can hire a canoe on the Dordogne and drift gently downstream past the ancient castles and villages and be brought back to the starting point by minibus at the end of the day. There are well marked footpaths and the maps are provided in the house. Bicycles and horses are available locally for the hardy and the brave.
Best of all, however, is lazing on the terrace with a glass of wine, listening to the cicadas and enjoying the peace.
