From your base at Ty Pradigo you'll find plenty of excellent golf courses within 40-45 minutes drive and locally there are fishing lakes and opportunities for walking and cycling. Ten minutes drive away in St Nicholas des Eaux where you can go fishing, kayaking or take a boat trip down the river Blavet.
The Brittany coastline is breathtaking and is just under an hour's drive from the cottage. There are excellent sandy beaches at Larmor Plage near Lorient and Carnac's 5 long sandy beaches are very popular with family holiday makers. Here you will find opportunities for canoeing, sailing, diving and surfing. About 20 minutes away is Lake Guerlédan, with fishing, bathing, canoeing, water skiing and pedallo hire . To the north east is the Forest of Quénécan, although it's ambitiously named "Swiss Brittany", there are three lakes and some excelllent marked walking trails.
