Delightful, well equipped gite in South West France. Sleeps up to six with 10m x 5m pool, situated less than a mile from Cognac's beautiful golf course and between the historic town and the pretty riverside town of Jarnac. This property is the perfect base for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

This lovely property has all of the charm and comforts of home, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, dining room with long table to comfortably seat ten and each of the three bedrooms having its own bath/shower room. A terrace leads directly from the lounge and kitchen providing welcome shade during the day, whilst the large private 10m x 5m pool and surrounding terrace is an oasis for sun worshippers.

The gite is situated in a tranquil area within walking distance of the Cognac Golf Course, just over five minutes by car from the pretty town of Jarnac and only ten minutes by car from the historic town of Cognac, South West France.

Bedrooms:	All bedrooms are on the first floor. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have beds that can be set up as either double or twin bedded. Each of the bedrooms have been thoughtfully and tastefully furnished for your personal comfort.
Bathrooms:	Bedroom 1 has an ensuite with bath. Bedroom 2 has its own shower room across the corridor from the bedroom. Bedroom 3 has its own wet room on the ground floor.
Kitchen:	The well equipped kitchen sits between the lounge, dining room and terrace. As the homeowner is a keen cook, all the usual equipment is available to make cooking here a pleasure.
Living Rooms:	Comfortable and tastefully furnished lounge opens on to the terrace and has a well stocked library for you to choose a book from.
Other Rooms:
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:	Linen, towels and tea towels are provided for your use in the house. We also supply towels for use by the pool.
Outside:	The lounge and kitchen open on to a shady terrace, which in turn leads onto a small lawned area. To the left of the house, the 10m x 5m private pool is reached down some (quite steep) steps and through a garage, which can be kept shut to keep the children away from the pool when unsupervised. The pool is fitted with an alarm for your security and sunbeds and umbrellas are available for your use.
Additional notes (if any):	We are situated in a very calm, tranquil location, and have enjoyed many relaxing holidays here ourselves. As I am a keen golfer, having Cognac's quality 18 hole course with its practice range on the doorstop is perfect. My partner enjoys fishing and there are many idyllic places close by on the Charente to enjoy for this and other water based activities, as well as many other things to discover.
