The Loire Gite, Anjou, is a traditional longerie built around 1800 and has a fascinating history having once been two houses in a sunny courtyard. As a longerie, or long house, Anjou benefits from very few stairs, just two leading into the bedrooms and three to the dining room. Sleeps 6 plus cots. Anjou has been beautifully converted and has a very comfortably furnished lounge which features a real wood burning fire, exposed stone walls, and we have uncovered some original beams. Your holiday cottage in the Loire France, Anjou is also equipped with TV, dvd and video player, hifi, books and games. WiFi access. The heated swimming pool and children's paddling pool and play area (unsupervised) are situated in the large sunny garden, overlooking the vineyards, where you can lounge in the sunshine from early morning until late evening. There are also, tables, chairs, & sun loungers where you can listen to the bird song and enjoy a glass of Loire wine. The heated pool is open mid May to mid September.

Three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin room. All the beds are very comfortable having sprung mattress and English pillows.

The fully equipped kitchen has a split level fan assisted oven, electric/gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge for wine, fridge with freezer box and all the mod-cons that make this a real 'Home from Home
Living Rooms:
Large comfortable living room, with tv, hifi,(with mp3 connection) dvd, video, games and books for all ages.
Other Rooms:
The dining-room leads onto the private garden which overlooks the vineyard.
Cleaning/Towels/Linen etc:
House towels, linen, tea towels and dishcloth are included in the price. Pool towels are available, ask for details
Outside:
Anjou has a lovely private garden with garden furniture and stone built bbq. The swimming pool paddling pool, children's play are in the sunny top garden where there are also sun loungers, tables, chairs, soft fruits, apples and pears (when in season)

This gite holiday property is ideally placed in the heart of the Loire Valley wine route for wine tasting. Chateaux dot the area and are within easy driving distance. There is entertainment for all ages from Futurscope, zoos, wine tastings, adventure parks, museums, historic villages and towns to beautiful drives or cycling where you will barely see another car.
